Top Tools Apps Performance in the UK for Q4 2022

In the fourth quarter of 2022, the performance of the top tools apps in the United Kingdom revealed interesting trends in weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at how each app fared during this period based on data from Sensor Tower.

Samsung Smart Switch Mobile from Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. saw a notable spike in downloads and active users towards the end of the quarter. Weekly downloads surged from around 30K in early October to a peak of approximately 165K in the week of December 19. Similarly, active users increased significantly, reaching around 154K in the same week.

QR & Barcode Scanner by Gamma Play experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at about 58K in the final week of December. Active users remained relatively stable throughout the quarter, with a slight dip in mid-December before bouncing back to around 417K.

Move to iOS by Apple showed a significant rise in weekly downloads, particularly in the week of December 19, reaching over 50K. Active users also saw a jump, peaking at around 120K during the same period, indicating heightened interest in the app towards the end of the year.

ArgoVPN from Filtershekanha had a varied performance in downloads, with a sharp decline from around 84K in early October to just 1.7K by the end of December. However, active users showed a more consistent trend, with a peak of approximately 154K in late October, before settling around 121K by the end of the quarter.

Google Opinion Rewards by Google LLC saw a dramatic increase in weekly downloads, particularly in early December, peaking at around 82K. Active users also increased steadily throughout the quarter, reaching approximately 62K in the final week of December.
